Number of Misinformed People Growing in Texas

Posted on July 1, 2011. Filed under: Conservative, education, government, Politics, Republican, Texas | Tags: , , , , , , , |

The past few days in Texas have been enlightening as far as patriot groups and news outlets are concerned.   Granted, the frustration of Texans with this legislative session is at an all time high.  The most disturbing part of all is the number of patriot leaders seeking moments of “limelight” in the press, without having  the facts.  Assuredly, most of these people mean well.  However, there is a sacred honor that should be evident, when trusted sources report to the people.

Let’s begin by talking about the time between the election and the legislative session.   There were no doubts about Speaker Joe Straus, due to his track record previously in the state as speaker and representative.  The man is liberal, and makes decisions based upon his own needs.  Yet, there was a primary teaparty leader of a group in Houston Texas who wrote an article that it didn’t matter if Joe was elected Speaker of the House.  Per this leader, the people could “control” the legislature.  After all, we were awake.  This tea party leader has a fair amount of reach and knowledge.  Today, I might say to her followers, you believe in her credibility – WHY?

Having spent hours and weeks in Austin, studying the legislature and bills, it is astounding to see the number of misinformed people in Texas.  Well-known patriot groups, patriot members, bloggers, and media  have been actively circulating incomplete and wrong information to suit their political preferences.  How dare any of us exploit the everyday working Texans?  What happened to accurate reporting for all the right reasons?  It is egregious for people to use social media outlets to misguide the people.   How is it the informed people speaking to the masses don’t know the Texas constitution or the procedures for a bill to pass the legislature?   How is it they do not know who has the power in Texas during legislative sessions?  How is it they don’t know exactly what happened to a bill, yet they continue to circulate inaccurate information to the masses?

In a legislative session, the Lt. Governor of Texas has the most power, closely followed by the Speaker of the House.  The Governor may make suggestions on what is slated as an emergency item for the legislature.  He has zero power to force the Speaker of the House or the Lt. Governor on the how and when they take actions.  If a person studied the legislature this year, a pattern would emerge.

When Straus and Dewhurst named committee chairs and worked with them to determine the members, these actions determined ownership of the power.  There were a handful of people controlling the personal agenda for Straus and Dewhurst.  It had nothing to do with the people of Texas.

In May,  Straus and Dewhurst openly defied the Governor with their choice on the  formation of the committee to look at Higher Education.  The Governor had focused on Higher Education reform for quite a while.  He mentioned some  of his ideas in speeches to the public and the legislature.   Take a look at the press release and the names of  people who have been appointed to the group. None of the conservative legislators heavily involved in reform ideas were included.  The people on the list are the ones who will support the status quo in higher education.  Why do you believe the Governor has the power to dictate actions to the Speaker and Lt. Governor?  Where is the basis of those “facts”?

Yes, we got some good bills out.   Those bills did not interfere with the agenda at hand (of Speaker Straus or Lt. Gov. Dewhurst), and distracted the public while other things were being discussed in the legislature.  What was the agenda?  If one looks at the overall number of bills and content, it appears to be a power play that will be completed in 2012 and 2013.   Redistricting maps ensured the strongest conservatives in the state, who are against gambling will likely lose their seat.  Deals were made to get a lot of people in a position to agree with these measures.  Undue amounts of money were spent in the budget, regardless of the enormous bills facing Texas in 2013.  Special interest groups ruled.  This weakened Texas, but guaranteed the number of votes needed to pass legislation wanted by Straus and Dewhurst.  Some might say this is politics.  It is the selling out of Texas.

Specific actions by people in the press, placed the blame for this year’s debacle at the Governor’s door.  Of course, the liberal press is counting on no one in Texas knowing how the legislature works!  Liberals have wanted to topple Texas conservatives for a very long time.  Has anyone stopped to ask who that would benefit and why?

The politic gameplaying this season, was a textbook study in deception, blocks, and innuendo to achieve goals of the people in charge.  Over the next few months, I will publish specific examples proving the allegations made in this article.  In fact, go look for the facts yourself.  You will be surprised at the amount of public data that can be found on this session, fully supporting these points.

What will happen in 2013, when we do not have  the money to pay the bills?  Would it be a state income tax that is suggested as a solution, or will it be gambling?   Formula One Racing was passed this session.  It has already been approved by the City of Austin.  This will be a large complex, that is surrounded by more open land for more vendors and projects.  Think about this.  Even if you are not against gambling, statistics show the crime rate will rise 3 to 1.  Can we afford more of a crime issue, given the open border and immigration problems?  People from dozens of terrorist countries come and use the Mexican border as the gateway to America.  Currently there is a war on crime in our state, do we need more?

Seven people controlled the legislative agenda for the most part.  Without these gatekeepers, good legislation would have gone to the floor in a timely manner, and been passed.   There were choices on what went to the floor.  On the House side, the most powerful gatekeepers appointed by Straus were Jim Pitts (Appropriations), Burt Solomans (Redistricting), and Todd Hunter (Calendars).   None of the key legislation could get to the floor without touching one of these chairmen.  On the Dewhurst side of the house, we had Ken Seliger (Redistricting),  and Steve Ogden (Finance).   By looking at the impact of those chairs, and the people on those committees, you will see the whole picture.

A closing comment to patriot groups.  The majority of the groups are thoughtful people, trying to get to the truth, so it may be shared with others.   What is the purpose of this article?   It is time to warn people they need to be careful when getting information from so-called leaders.   Whether it is me, or someone else in the patriot world, it is time to question everything.  A multitude of  people  with conflicting agendas have infiltrated these groups.  They want third parties.  They want a bit of the spotlight.

Thank you to the groups who continue to strive for the truth, when educating the masses. It isn’t important who gets the recognition with the masses or the media.  It is important we get it right, and remove the people from office that sold us out.  As for the misguided people spreading vicious gossip without substance, more credibility would be gained by telling the truth.  Think about it.

A Heartfelt Patriot Wish for 2011

Posted on January 1, 2011. Filed under: Conservative, government, Politics | Tags: , , , , , , , , |

United we Stand!

My wish for all of us as we move forward, is that everything is questioned without accepting anything.

Here are some of the questions I had lately:

1.  What was the origin of the Omnibus Spending Bill and when was it put together?

Answer:  The primary 12 committees gave their recommendations for spending with regard to that specific area, early 2010 before the “Omnibus Bill” was pulled together.

2. Why didn’t the individual appropriation requests go through as individual bills?

Answer:  This was a strategic decision by the current House and Senate Leadership (Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid respectively) to put them all together as one bill at the end of the year.  This begs the question of what advantage would this be to the progressives who have actively sought to transform America.

3. Why was all the obvious “pork” added to the Omnibus Bill in spite of the recent election which spoke to the mandate of the American People?  WHO benefited?

Answer:  The media focused on Republicans even though they had less than 1% of the pork in the bill.  The majority of the media was focused on “hypocritical Republicans”.

4.  Did anyone notice the reactions of the liberals when the Omnibus Spending BIll was dropped by Harry Reid?

Answer:  Very little was said by the Progressives as they moved back quickly to the treaty and appropriation discussions.

It is as if they never intended to pass this bill……as if it never happened.

5. What result did the Republicans get with the introduction of this bill and the focus from the media?

Answer:  Teaparties didn’t ask any questions about the why, how, or when of the earmarks.  The Teaparties and patriots quickly jumped to conclusions that the Conservatives had added billions in earmarks after saying they would no longer use earmarks.   The media fanned the flames of hypocritical Conservatives and the Tea Parties  turned on the Conservatives.

6. Did any network ask when the earmarks were requested for things like Defense?

Answer:  No.  These requests were prior(by many months)  to the agreed upon moratorium on earmarks and prior to the release of the Debt Commission Report by many months.

7. Did anyone ask why the Congressional leadership chose to ignore the critical funding requests until the end of the year when the government was almost out of money?

Answer: No

8. Who controlled the majority in the 2010 Congress?

Answer: Democrats

9.  When 70% of the people were against the proposed Healthcare bill for moral and/or economic reasons, did Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi EVER cave due to pressure from the constituents or the Tea Party pressure?

Answer:  NO

10. Did Harry Reid and the liberals gain anything by dismissing the Omnibus Spending Bill?

Answers:

1)  Republicans threatened to demand the reading of the bill.  This would cause a lot of parliamentary delay (up to 80 hours if requested twice) and put passage of other bills at risk in this session.  The Democrats gained time on the floor by dismissing the bill.

2) There was plenty of time to ensure passage of the Arms Treaty (which weakens the US defense), and the temporary funding bill for the government.

These latter two bills will assist the Progressives on their agenda for 2012.

11. What did the President gain by this “compromise” on the tax situation?

Answer:  Some Independents, Republicans, Tea Partiers, and media began to say he is moving more toward the center, just like Bill Clinton.  It softened opposition to his Presidency to some degree.

12.  Did the President “care” about compromise when he refused to meet with any conservatives for about 18 months?

Answer.  No.  He continued to use his Congressional majority to ram the agenda down the throats of Americans.

13. Did the President “lose” anything on the tax compromise?

Answer:  A bit of grumbling from the left and saber rattling.  Nancy and Harry are still in place and they were able to get the liberals under control in under two weeks.

What is the moral of this story?  Liberals have proven repeatedly over the past two years that they are ruthless, and will do anything to achieve their agenda.  The Senate is still controlled by a Master Puppetmaster named Senator Harry Reid.   Leopards don’t change their spots, and patriots need to beware of trickery in the coming two years.

Grassroots’ Candidates are coming forward!

Posted on October 1, 2009. Filed under: Activism, Politics | Tags: , , , , , , |

B&W_Mary

Over the past 4 weeks, I’ve become aware of a phenomenon sweeping the nation.  One by one, state by state, there is news of grassroots activists becoming candidates for office.   The notion of serving our country was “catching fire”.  Announcements have been made for brand new candidates running for City Offices, State offices, and Federal offices.

Recently I attended the local campaign kick-off for a candidate named Mary Huls.  Mary is one of the grassroots activists who has decided to be a part of the process for improvement. She will be running for State Representative for Texas. Mary  is a constitutional conservative.  I came with an open mind, wanting to see for myself – what makes a person step up to such a daunting task?  This would be the ultimate test of the grassroots movement.

What I found was a passionate, articulate woman who had a vision of what could be.  She spoke to the issues, where she stood, and handled some tough questions.  What I appreciated the most is she wasn’t sure on a very few issues, as to how to best affect the change required for improvement.  Mary was unashamed to admit she will need to look at all the information before making a recommendation.  It was refreshing to witness such a straightforward dialogue without the usual sidestepping of issues we have witnessed the last few decades.

The crowd was intently listening to her every word.  You could hear a pin drop in the room it was so quiet.  This is the moment many people in the grassroots movements have been waiting for.  Much like our founding fathers, people of good moral character and conviction are stepping up to the ultimate challenge.  They want to serve the country.

People such as Mary will face ridicule from local politicians and political parties.  There are far too many people who automatically vote for incumbents without looking at their records.  This is a big part of the problem we have in the government today.   Our founding fathers faced a lot of obstruction as well.  Can it be that we are experiencing  the beginning of a tide to refound our country?  The new candidates from grassroot organizations will need to be tough, and face down many negative detractors.

What can we do in the grassroots movement to help these people of courage and honor who are stepping up to the ultimate challenge?  They need our support and encouragement as much as possible.  This is what America needs – not more of the same, but people who care enough to stand up and be counted for the future of America.  I am thankful for Mary Huls and all the people like her, that stand ready to take the country back to an adherence of the framework of our government and our nation.

One man with courage is a majority.

#4 Senator Harry Reid, it is time to leave!

Posted on September 30, 2009. Filed under: Activism, Politics | Tags: , , , , , |

Harry Reid

Senator Harry Reid (Democrat) was first elected in 1986.  He will be up for election again in 2010.

In February 2009 when the country was struggling with high unemployment numbers and a terrible economy, this is how he voted to spend more of your tax dollars (plunging us deeper into debt for future generations):

1)  Voted to pass a stimulus package worth billions when the country is already deeply in debt.  The excuse  was that it would create jobs and help the economy.  In the stimulus package were the following things to “help the economy”:

  •   Voted to keep a $245M earmark in the stimulus bill to “help Hollywood” via tax credits
  • $15.84 billion for student financial assistance, including Pell Grants (Div. A, Title VIII) Editorial Note:  When millions are out of work, is it important to plunge us deeply into debt to pay for more student’s college education?  Let them work their way through school like so many generations of college students before them.
  • Included not less than $250,000,000 shall be available for competitive grants for innovative programs to encourage sustainable adoption of broadband service
  • Included an additional amount for `Scientific and Technical Research and Services’, $220,000,000.
  • To the National Endowment for the Arts: For an additional amount for `Grants and Administration’, $50,000,000, to be distributed in direct grants to fund arts projects and activities  Editorial note:  This group most recently has used their money and abilities to provide signage and art to support the President’s pushing of the government run healthcare program.  These were your taxpayer dollars furthering the personal agenda of pushing government healthcare on everyone.

Senator Reid has many, many examples such as the one above where he is more than willing to commit trillions of dollars for almost anything, as future generations will be the ones committed to paying it back.

Growing the government to take more control (these excerpts are from laws he voted for)

1)      Establishes the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board to oversee appropriated funds and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse (Div. A, Title XV).  Editorial note:  There are laws on the books that can prevent the fraud, waste, and abuse, the laws haven’t been enforced for decades)

2)      Establishes the Office of National Coordinator for Health Information Technology to allow for the electronic use and exchange of information that secures and protects patient health information, improves health care quality, reduces medical errors and health disparities, reduces costs from inefficiency, medical errors, inappropriate or duplicate care, and incomplete information, and improves coordination of care between hospitals, laboratories, and physician offices (Div. A, Title XIII).  Editorial note: This is setting up a focal point who will ensure there is a health technology network in place nationwide –  in preparation for the Government run healthcare that the House and Senate Democrats are trying to pass.

In 2001, Senator Harry Reid voted against an amendment that would prohibit the use of funds from tax-exempt organizations and labor unions for broadcast ads supporting federal candidates.  Apparently he wanted to preserve the “free reins” of the special interest groups to help in federal campaigns.

And finally there is the matter of common sense and being non-partisan for the good of the country.  Recently Senator Reid led a vote against permitting 72 hours of public viewing time of the Chairman’s mark of the Healthcare Proposal.  He and his fellow democrat Senators voted to not have any time to review the finished product and associated financing prior to the vote.  This is absolutely a disservice to the country.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was asked by over 20 other Senators recently to instruct pertinent Senate committee chairmen to investigate ACORN’s offenses and identify the sources of all federal funds that ACORN and its affiliates receive. Despite the fact that the U.S. Senate has at its disposal 20 committees, 68 subcommittees, and 4 joint committees, the Majority Leader has denied the request, stating he will not instruct Senate leaders to do anything that would detract from efforts to address the issues currently before Congress.  ACORN is involved in a criminal case now involving voter fraud.  There are 10 other states investigating similar voting fraud charges.  In addition, they have had several offices filmed advising people on how to handle taxes on businesses with underage prostitutes.  Acorn is under investigation in several states for these last items as well.

This is a standard, straightforward request that has occurred previously with other sessions for both the House and Senate.  Under the direction of this same Majority Leader, in conjunction with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Congress has held more than 150 oversight hearings on Bush-era practices and activities – transcribing more than 3,200 pages of witness testimony and printing more than 17,000 pages of unclassified, publicly available reports. For Majority Leader Reid, it seems that ‘oversight’ is a selective responsibility, and the misuse of taxpayer dollars by a fraud-ridden organization does not qualify as a priority in his purview as the Leader of the U.S. Senate.

For the inability to be fiscally responsible, uphold the duties of your office in an honorable manner, and provide unbiased leadership in the Senate, there is only one thing left to say.  Senator Reid, you have served special interests more than the people, and it is time to go.

Corruption is worse than prostitution. The latter might endanger the morals of an individual, the former invariably endangers the morals of the entire country.

#3 Congresswoman Lee, it is time to go!

Posted on September 30, 2009. Filed under: Activism, Politics | Tags: , , , , |

Sheila_Jackson-Lee

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee  (Democrat) represents Texas.  She has been in office continuously since 1994.  Her next election will be in 2010.

Sheila Jackson Lee has used every possible opportunity in the previous years to vote in favor of spending money regardless of the economy and has consistently voted for government expansion in the lives of the individuals in this country.  There were so many examples of being fiscally irresponsible and examples of questionable character that it was difficult to be brief on this topic.  For that reason, it appears to be more prudent to concentrate on clear cases of poor judgment exhibited through the most recent time period.

Rep. Jackson Lee was one of five members of Congress who took part in a Citigroup-funded junket to the sunny Caribbean island of St. Maartens shortly after all five voted for TARP. The trip was led by Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles Rangel (D-NY), who cheated on his taxes and proposed tax increases to fund health care.

Most recently when the country was deep in debt, she voted yes to pass a huge stimulus package for the country that contained a lot of earmarks.   The voting record shows that she votes yes for almost every bill that will cost the taxpayers more money.

Now we are in the midst of a healthcare debate shortly after passing one of the largest “handouts” in the history of the country.  What is her contribution to the debate?   First of all, she argues why all the illegals should be covered under the plan.  What part of the word illegal does she not understand?  America has laws in place for a reason.  Why would a representative of our government suggest benefits be given to those guilty of criminal actions?  Rather than address the issue of illegal aliens, she speaks about them as if they have the same rights as the working citizens of this country.  Congresswoman Lee clearly views them as equal to the American citizens.

Sheila Jackson Lee justifying illegal aliens in the Healthcare Plan:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWk6OYUv1QU

What about her character?  What do we know?   We know that at a townhall to discuss healthcare in August 2009, there was behavior indicative of someone who doesn’t want to listen to her constituents.  Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee picked up her cell phone while a cancer survivor recounted her story and begged her not to endorse the President’s health care plan.  This was not quick, the Congresswoman had a lengthy conversation on the phone while ignoring the lady in the audience.  Numerous news outlets interviewed her after this debacle.  Although the Congresswoman explained she had a reason for the call, there was no intention to apologize for her behavior.  Clearly the constituents were not the priority at the townhall.

Sheila Jackson Lee being rude to lady at the Healthcare Town Hall:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-L3FnWNkIzU

In another townhall, there was a woman who identified herself as a Doctor and asked a question to Congresswoman Lee.  The exchange was quite pro-Healthcare plan on the part of the Doctor.  People later discovered the Doctor was actually not a Doctor (nor a Sheila Jackson Lee constituent), but someone on the Obama staff.

Sheila Jackson Lee at townhall with woman pretending to be a Doctor:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxna9SfmBgs

Her recent contributions include complaining that hurricane names were too Caucasian and proposing a resolution praising Michael Jackson as the world’s greatest humanitarian.  Bear in mind this was also the man who was investigated at great length for his suspicious behavior with children.

In September of 2009, she voted against a bill to pull the funding from ACORN.  This community group has been charged and is in a criminal trial for voter fraud.  There are 10 states that are also investigating them for voter fraud.  This is also the same company that was exposed in the media recently for advising people on underage prostitutes and other criminal activities.  This was an expose on this company in multiple cities.  With all of this happening, Congresswoman Lee voted against the bill to put an end to their federal funding.

What is she thinking?  At best, her judgment appears to be horribly skewed.

Lack of fiscal responsibility, consistently voting to grow the government, poor judgment, and a willingness to overlook illegal patterns of behavior puts this lady on our NOT the 56 list.

Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one.

#2 Senator Snowe, it is time to go!

Posted on September 28, 2009. Filed under: Activism, Politics | Tags: , , , , , |

Senator Olympia Snowe is representing Maine as a Republican.  She has been in office each year since 1994.  The Senator is up for re-election in 2012.

The country was founded on the basis of less government and unalienable rights of the individual to pursue, life, liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.  This is supported by less government “controls”, where the people succeed and fail primarily by their own ambitions and efforts.  Let’s take a look at some of the ways Senator Snowe has translated our country’s foundation into her voting practices.

HR 4104  Senator Snow voted yes;  This was passed by the Senate
H Amdt 728: Federal Health Plan Contraceptive Coverage Amendment
H Amdt 723: Increase FEC Funding

Issues: Abortion Issues, Budget, Spending and Taxes
Date: 09/03/1998

Link to Legislation: http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c105:hr4104

In this there was the creation of a National Drug Control Office which took control over drug policies and diminished some of the individual rights of the state to mandate laws and controls that were appropriate for specific state issues.  Today, this has grown to a massive organization that is setting drug policies, allocating sizeable grant funds, and making recommendation on both thing domestically and internationally.  Yes, we need drug policies, but why do we think it takes a massive “overhead” organization rather than the states to mandate these actions?  At most, why couldn’t there be a policy advisor that makes recommendations and observations?

She has consistently voted to support excessive spending (such as the Stimulus bill) and enlarging the government role in people’s lives.  If you think this is incorrect, please look at her voting record.  In 2008 the National Taxpayers Union gave Senator Snowe a rating of F.

Senator Snowe  has grown public policies which encourage irresponsible behavior on the part of people such as those currently on welfare.

Most recently her idea on healthcare to “help the people” is to compromise in a bi-partisan fashion  so something is achieved.   Why would anyone “compromise” on what is right for the people just to get something done?

September 7, 2009

Senator Snowe was interviewed by CNBC.  Please watch this video to get a true picture of her view of reality with our government today.

CNBC: Do you think Barack Obama is a big-government liberal?

“SNOWE: No, it’s interesting, I don’t. In fact, I almost sense the opposite

In closing, I only have one thing to say.  Senator Snowe, It’s time to go.

#1 Speaker of the House Pelosi, time to pack your bags!

Posted on September 28, 2009. Filed under: Activism, Politics | Tags: , , , , , |

What on earth could I possibly have to say about the Speaker of the House of Representatives, meeting privately in Houston to discuss the current Healthcare reform considerations before Congress and the Senate?  Quite a lot actually.  This was simply another episode in a long line of inappropriate behavior by a person who holds one of the most influential positions in our government.

Why is it necessary for a person of the stature of the Speaker of the House to hold a private meeting to reconcile any “differences” with the CEO of a hospital or any of its’ medical personnel with regard to a Healthcare Reform Bill?  Could it be the answer is money?  OR is this simply a “quiet” way to ensure the healthcare “industry” will support the bill publicly if their needs are met?

Mmmm, let’s review the facts.  Did the Speaker invite any questions from the people who lined the roads into the hospital complex as she whisked in and out of  the meeting?  Is the reform bill supposedly to “help” the people of the country?  Then, why on earth would she not at a minimum make a statement to the many people who waited for hours to see her?   Hundreds of people lined the streets going into the hospital.  There was zero effort by Mrs. Pelosi to communicate with anyone.   Who does she think her employer is?

Perhaps it was money.  Let’s explore that angle.   If she was raising money for healthcare reform support – the obvious question is why?  Does the administration believe that money is needed to gain airwave time for their “cause”?  The last time I checked, ABC, CBS, and NBC are ensuring maximum support for the President, his entire administration and their “causes”.  A reasonable question might be:  Is this the cause of the people, or of the administration?   The uninsured are the minority in the country.  So, I ask you……is this the will of the people to have a government run healthcare for everyone inclusive of the majority who do not need it?   IF this is the will of the majority of the people, why does the administration feel the need to “campaign” about the reform bill?  Clearly Mrs. Pelosi is putting the extra hours in, to support what the President and the administration would like to pass into law (regardless of the will of the people).

The following day after the meeting in Houston, Mrs. Pelosi was the guest in a private home in Austin.  A lot of people showed up (a lot of lobbyists) to be with her at a $30,000 per plate event.    What is she raising private funds for?   Shouldn’t there be some form of transparency on the issue of fundraising?  They are not running for office this year.  If they discussed healthcare reform behind closed doors with a mixed audience comprised of the elite and lobbyists, we the people have a right to know the discussion content.  What was the money for?

I recall writing a letter to Mrs. Pelosi a while back.   It was not on this topic, but one that was important to me.  I asked for her opinion and support on an Eagle Scout who did not receive the traditional flag certificate that also has the word “God” on it.  The letter asked for her support to ensure the Eagle Scout got the traditional flag certificate inclusive of the word “God” which has always been on it.  Her team sent me a fairly crisp letter stating they would not answer any letters of mine as I was not a “constituent” and to write someone else!  She is the speaker of the House!!!  Who/what does she represent?

Time and again, Mrs. Pelosi has used power and position to subvert traditions of the country.  I submit that as Speaker of the House, she has an obligation to listen to the people in an impartial manner and make decisions accordingly. Most recently she called the people who are at the rallies and protests, un-American!  Last time I looked the First amendment was in place that gives people that right.  Is she suggesting Americans no longer have the right to assemble or the right to free speech?

In my humble opinion,  Mrs. Pelosi is not one of the “56”.  What do I mean by that?  There were 56 original signers of our country’s Declaration of Independence.  These men were also the “voice of reason and vision” as they put together a progressive governmental framework document called the Constitution of the United States.  Recently, Glenn Beck put forth the notion of finding 56 honest men and women who want to end the corruption and pandering to special interest groups.  This is probably the most progressive approach to the current out of control spending and corruption we are witnessing at the highest levels in the country.  It is not a Republican or a Democrat or a move of any other party.  It is a bi-partisan move to “clean house”.  These 56 men and women of the Congress and the Senate would work together to get America back on track.  They would have a sense of honor and duty that was everpresent  in our  founding father’s thoughts (RE: Federalist Papers).  I am proposing the notion that as Americans we should be able to deduce most of these 56 by their performance records, examples of moral character and examples of following the constitution.  Do they truly listen to the people?  Are they being fiscally responsible?  Are they transparent in their dealings?  Are they respectful of the constitution?   If they haven’t exhibited the above, they need to go!

Let’s start by putting Speaker of the House Pelosi on the list of who must go.  She has consistently showed disdain for Americans voicing opinions, the immigration laws, and has been caught lying about key issues such as waterboarding.   When caught in mistruths, calling people names or supporting illegal activity, there is usually another diversion, another topic, another speech in which the Speaker of the House diverts attention from her activities.  I will refresh your memories by including 3 links to support the arguments.  There are hundreds of pieces of footage on the news networks and on the internet if you prefer to find your own substantiation.   Who is next on the list of who has to go?  You may be surprised.  Stay tuned.
